The Geelong Careers Expo is an inclusive, hands-on and high-energy event created specifically for young people across the Geelong region.
Designed for students in Years 9–12, the Expo brings together a comprehensive mix of career, training, employment and support services into one powerful, inspiring day.
Hosted at the brand-new Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention & Event Centre, the event is built in partnership with industry, training providers, schools and community organisations, united to support the region’s future workforce.
Presented by the Geelong Region Local Learning & Employment Network (GRLLEN). Supporting young people across Geelong, Surf Coast, Queenscliffe and Golden Plains.

Why is the event happening?
Geelong needed one central, high-quality careers event where young people could explore the full spectrum of opportunities available to them.
The Geelong Careers Expo was created to:

Give students meaningful hands-on experiences
Expand awareness of local and external career pathways
Strengthen collaboration between education and industry
Support young people in moving confidently from school to work
It is a new event for a new generation — designed to grow with the region and become a lasting annual pillar.
