Inspiring Futures. Connecting Pathways.

Thursday 30 July 2026
Nyaal Banyul — Geelong Convention & Event Centre

A major regional careers and pathways event bringing together students, schools, industry, training providers and community to explore the opportunities shaping Geelong’s future workforce.

Presented by the Geelong Region Local Learning & Employment Network (GRLLEN). Supporting young people across Geelong, Surf Coast, Queenscliffe and Golden Plains.

Geelong needed one central, high-quality careers event where young people could explore the full spectrum of opportunities available to them.

The Geelong Careers Expo was created to:

  • Bring a comprehensive range of providers together in one accessible location

  • Give students meaningful hands-on experiences

  • Expand awareness of local and external career pathways

  • Strengthen collaboration between education and industry

  • Support young people in moving confidently from school to work

It is a new event for a new generation — designed to grow with the region and become a lasting annual pillar.

Created for Geelong’s young people.

  • Designed for Years 9–12, the Expo brings together a wide range of career, training, employment and support services in one central location. Students will engage in hands-on experiences, meet real industry professionals, and access practical information to help shape their futures.
